Proper Nutrition for Trauma Recovery

90-minute workshop with Catholic nutritionist, Lucy Diana.

Catholic Nutrition Consultant, Lucy Diana, will share the current science-based evidence on the impact of healthy food choices and trauma recovery. Food choices can reverse the damage of chronic stress and inflammation produced by ongoing trauma responses. A healthy brain = a healthy gut. Lucy will share her personal journey through trauma recovery and how God led her to write her thesis on: “Mitigating acute anxiety by modulating the microbiome.”
